Ultraglow Magic Lips - colour changing lipsticks

While shopping in a local shop with healthy and organic products I came across a new lipstick range by Ultraglow...

What made them different? Well wearable daytime lipstick in colours such as green, black or white?
Hmmmm and they claim to change colour according to your own PH! I just had to try it out...

Lets start with the official description:

Well lets see how it works.....

The circles on the left represent the current colour of the lipsticks (white, black, blue, yellow) and the color shade next to it shows the range of colour to which product can develop while on your skin depending on your body's PH.

It worked when applied to finger tips, how about lips?

Right what about durability? Does it wear off in a nasty way? I applied it in a morning and had three meals and a lot of drinks during the day... Result? It was still there! 

Drinkproof - Checked! A+

Kissproof - Checked! A+


Swimproof - I didn't go swimming but it sure lasted the shower and I could still see a bit of colour in the morning!

To sum up - Ultraglow Magic Lips is an amazing product!! Definitely worth every penny, I can even say that I would pay a lot more for such a good quality lipstick.

I love supporting products made in the country where the company is based, also  they are vegan and vegetarian and are not testing on animals BUAV certified.

Mirror Mirror on the wall... No7 2014 Illuminated Make-up Mirror

Since every (evil queen) girl needs a mirror, after saying goodbye to my old make-up standing mirror I started to look around for a new one...
Thanks to my lovely friends Allie and Laura who got me a gift voucher for Boots UK I did not have to look long...

I decided to get this product mainly tempted by the illuminating light as I thought it will be a big advantage during the autumn and winter season when I have to do my make-up early in the morning when it's completely dark outside and the normal room light is just not enough.
Also comparing to the previous version of this product 2014 edition has a Dimmer switch to help you control the lighting to what you want.

As you can see the light actually does the job and improves the visibility, I tested it in the complete darkness and YES you can apply your make-up without a fail (of course it's not an exact daylight simulation, so I would still have a look after the sunrise, whether your make-up might need some alterations ;)
 
I did not take any pictures of the magnifying option, since it's a standard x 5 available with most of mirrors.

In general I'm very pleased with it and would recommend buying especially for this special offer price ;)
